Star seller requirement question

hi. This is Yoon Seok.

My store name is Stunu.

I think I should have gotten a star seller badge.

But I found why not.

One of the Star Merchant requirements is to respond to messages within 24 hours.

However, I did not respond to one message. because
The message is that I don't actually have to respond!
The message was that I was a buyer and had a conversation with another seller.

The last message was a greeting or "OK".

for example....

If you need to respond to all messages...

Let's say..

--------------------------

Seller: Thank you.

me: welcome

Buyer: Okay.

Me: Okay, thank you.

seller : ....

me : ....

-------------------------------

you know what i'm talking about

Conversation is endless...

Is there any way to solve this problem?

The rules:

"Your message response rate stat is based on:

  • The per cent of initial messages that you replied to in 24 hours or less, including by auto-reply
  • Only messages received in the current review period, excluding the last day

These messages won’t be counted:

  • Anything after the first message in a thread (no need to worry about ongoing conversations)
  • Messages you mark as spam
  • Messages from Etsy admin

Try to set up an auto replyOpens a new tab when you know you won’t be available. Note that marking a message unread doesn’t restart the clock, or count a message you’ve replied to as “new” again. It may take up to 24 hours for info to update."

Please know that the Message response rate counts initial messages from all Etsy members, both buyers, and other sellers. This is because fellow sellers could be potential buyers for your shop. If it's not a spam message it requires a response within 24 hours. If it is a spam message you can mark it as such and it won't count toward your score.
