The pending orders keep getting mixed up

Hello,

A few days ago, we noticed an error that caused us to sort our orders incorrectly while preparing them. Now, I will show you a video I recorded as a screenshot.

Our orders are sorted by the shipping date, but even though we made updates to our orders without changing any filters or sorting options, the order display sequence changes. We do not understand why or how this sequence changes, but when we move an order to the "in progress" status, the order of the remaining "new" orders gets mixed up.

We noticed this issue because it caused some delays in our orders. At the end of the day, we updated our orders (some were shipped, and some were moved to "in progress"), but the next day, the list of orders to be prepared was different. After observing this for 2-3 consecutive days, we realized there was an error, identified it, and are bringing it to your attention. We hope you can fix this issue as soon as possible.

This has been happening to me for a very long time. The orders "reorder" at will. I had a special order placed Friday and it should have been the first in line to process, it is currently 11th to ship as I type this. I print my invoices as orders come in and then process the labels when I ship. It costs me a lot of wasted time flipping through paperwork to find the invoices because NOTHING is in sequence. Combine that with orders changing ship by dates...it is upsetting, time is not free.

Etsy is always changing something. One of them may have messed this up. I use shipstation so haven't even noticed it. Anyone who ships a lot daily should look into it. So much time saved.

This exact thing is happening to me. It's been happening every week through October. I always leave a note on an order from where I need to start designing from, but this always ends up in a different position, meaning I have to double check all orders for a certain day to make sure they have been designed. I've complained to Etsy every single week and they keep saying they can't replicate the issue, so there's no problem. Now that I've shown them you're having the exact same issue, they've finally forwarded the information to their tech team.
