The category selection button does not work when listing new products. When I wanted to list a new product, when I clicked on that box while choosing a category, suggestions were coming up or a clickable category would appear. But now, whatever we do to that box, it comes out empty. Anyone experiencing this problem? how do we solve ? Thank You

I'm having the same problem with Category section. Can't post a listing. Am going to try to send an email. Glad to know this resolved the problem for others.

Yes, I am having the same problem.  It won't recognise any category I choose and therefore I can't complete the listing.  I think this is a ruse to get us to use the new listing format!

I just refreshed the page and checked if I could set the category before remaking the listing and it worked. Unfortunately, if you get this error, there does not appear to be a way to salvage the listing and you will need to refresh and start over.

I have this problem since yesterday, spend 2 hours to prepere listing but finelly can; post it nor create a new listing. Also I didn't find how to send a mail or message about technical issue to Etsy...

@CrystallineCA   Which template form are you using?  Creating a new or using Copy?  

In the new format, in the box for category, start typing in a topic.  A box opens for you to select the category.

Are you using the app or browser?  If using app, use a browser,

I am using a browser, it just does not work, after I open the box and select catecory nothing happened. I had chat with Etsy and they said I should swith to old version because a new one does not work good yet

So guys who have this problem now, afer chatting with support I found out that it's the problem with new version of Etsy and many experinse it now so what they said its that we need is to swith to old version by click this: in a banner on the top of the page that reads "Welcome to your new, streamlined listing experience." and a button that says "Switch to old version" next to it". We should temporary work by in old version interface before they fixing a new one.

And yes I had the same problem and I reported it to Etsy and they seem not to know what I'm talking about. I ended up using my mobile phone to list my categories.

I did this in it actually worked:  Often if you hold down your Control+Shift button while you refresh the page, it will work the 2nd time. Other times it doesn't work for an hour or two.

Found a solution (on PC) - Start Typing your category, hit the down arrow on your keyboard until you see the right one highlighted in grey, then hit enter. It seems it's the mouse click that isn't registering.
