The category selection button does not work when listing new products. When I wanted to list a new product, when I clicked on that box while choosing a category, suggestions were coming up or a clickable category would appear. But now, whatever we do to that box, it comes out empty. Anyone experiencing this problem? how do we solve ? Thank You

Switch to the old version at the top of the template.

I had the same problem. The only thing that worked was for me to press enter instead of double-clicking the category I wanted to select.

I sent an email regarding this issue as I'm having the same problem. It did say 1-2 days for a response. I'm hoping they're aware as it's very important to Etsy that we're all able to list.

It's been that way for months. Often if you hold down your Control+Shift button while you refresh the page, it will work the 2nd time. Other times it doesn't work for an hour or two.

But you will lose whatever you already input up to that point if you Refresh the page. I've gotten so I check it before I bother entering any other information.

It does that on Sections, too. Sometimes it shows my Sections, and other times it says I have none. Sometimes a Refresh fixes it, other times not.

Mine is not working either.  Will loose all my work for that listing since can't save as draft without filling in the category.

Same issue. This is bug that needs to be resolved now - for sellers AND for Etsy!! We cannot make you money if you don't fix this Etsy!

I found a quick solution! So, if this is the case, what I did was, I “duplicated” a listing. So the category would already be placed there! I recommend copying a listing that has similar categories!
