The Web Property ID you entered is invalid.

When I try to paste my GA-4 property id it says, "The Web Property ID you entered is invalid."

My ID is just a string of 9 numbers.

How do you get this to work? Any suggestions?

Nevermind I was trying to use the wrong ID

Just doing the set up but it's not totally clear. The ETSY Shop Analytics page says enter the Web Property ID (numeric string of 9) whereas Google says Enter the Tag ID (alphanumeric string of 10). 

ETSY accepts G- followed by either string  and I'm not sure which is the correct one to use. Anyone know?

OK This help link, which I couldn't find before, confirms: "In the Web Property ID field, enter your Google ID Tag in this format: G-XXXXXXXXXX i.e. the alphanumeric 10 long string preceded by G-

@callistesvintage  I just posted with the same problem. I had to add "G-" before the number.

I needed to put G- before the 9 digit number. Wish those instructions were on that exact page. *eyeroll* lol

The "G-" worked for me too.
