The Sales on "Recent Activity" is Different persons than same sales on my Order & shipping page

Hi, 

I have 4 sales from one person, I think. This person is showing up in my Recent Activity has 1 person buying 4 different items 

However, in my Order & Shipping page, it is showing as 4 DIFFERENT customers buying 1 item each. 

Something went terribly wrong. I need some help getting this fixed.

@sibstudiosewing   Deep breath.  Sounds like they bought gifts to be shipped to different people - and they did it correctly, they way they are supposed to.

Most of the time, someone will buy the 4 items, then ask you to ship to their 4 friends in the far corners of the country, making you either eat the extra postage, or necessitating cancelling the order, and asking them to start over - with the four individual addresses, and corresponding shipping . 

If this is the case, you have a very nice and savvy Buyer!

* The orders will probably have the same Buyer / Etsy Account, but different ships-to addresses.

@sibstudiosewing: Do the orders have the same buyer account with four different shipping address or actually four different accounts as the buyers?

There is nothing unusual or "terribly wrong" about these Orders. The same person (Buyer) purchased 4 different items and paid for them. They have then entered 4 different delivery addresses, so the parcels are sent to 4 different people. The Buyer is probably Christmas Shopping

Thank you for your response.  All 4 items are to my existing customers. That's what threw me - it looked hacked  

But I suppose that could very be the case - she bought for friends and they all happen to be customers of mine.  Weird but possible.

@sibstudiosewing Whilst that may seem to be a eird coincidence, it is probably not as strange as you think. If this person knows these people love your items and have purchased from you previously, then she probably thought they would like a gift from your Shop.

Perhaps one or two past buyers put itens in their Favorites or Collections, sort of like a "wedding register"?

It's one buyer showing on my dashboard.  

My order & shipping page shows 4 buyers with an address each.  All 4 are previous customers.  Which is why it looked weird - the orders are showing a purchase from 4 different previous customers.  

My dashboard shows 1 customer buying 4 items separately.

No. You have one Buyer but 4 different Ship To Recipients and Delivery Addresses.

The names/addresses on the actual Order Items is not always the same as the person who purchased them. This information is about who to Ship To not who Purchased
