Terribly slow photo uploading all day today, why??

Hi guys,

I do know that Etsy has technical issues time to time which is normal but why has it been so slow al day to upload photos? I have spent several hours near the screen uploading the pics one by one, Etsy charges us a lot of fees and it includes normal uploading speed which has been a mess today. I have other things to do instead of waiting for 5 MINUTES of ONE PHOTO to upload. Not a happy one here

I would think it is more your internet. I am not having any problems here in the USA. Are your pictures too big for what Etsy says? that would slow things down. Maybe come back later in the day and see how it is.

I am in Portugal. Other sites are uploading photos at a normal speed Etsy was fine for months and today I have spent so much time waiting

Try resetting your modem. My photos are loading quickly. Etsy has nothing to do with how fast your photos load.

I have done that several times, no change. Other sites are all right.

I have. Even different laptops. The issue seems to have been fixed by now, will have to try later but listing 7 items took the whole day yesterday. Today I spoke to Etsy support about other issues and got the same level of support - zero. I find Etsy support to be the worst ever, even worse than Ebay. On my memory there was ONLY ONE instance when I was helped, the rest of my calls for help have been consistenly rejected over the course of 16 years.
