PS: The message in question did not come from Etsy, and we have already actioned the account attempting to impersonate admin.

Scam! Do not send your e-mail; this will lead to them sending you a fake Etsy page requesting your financial information enabling them to steal money from your account.

If the "order" is not in the "orders and shipping" section on your dashboard, there is no legitimate sale.

Technical support does not message anyone directly. It is thieves trying to trick you to get your money. Etsy HAS all your information. They don't need your email, credit card, banking information. They already HAVE it.

Wow, it's so sad to keep hearing about these scams.  I think Etsy is doing all they can at this point.
