Technical issues?

Hi All,

I've just received quite suspicious message from "Etsy":

"Hеllо, Deаr sеller! You hаvе a nеw оrder, thе buyеr hаs pаid for it, but due tо а tесhnicаl еrrоr the оrder is nоt visible in your ассоunt. To соmplеtе it yоu nееd tо gо thrоugh а shоrt vеrificаtiоn prосеdurе. If yоu аgrее writе "I аgrее" in this сhаt. Yоu will аutоmatiсally bе sеnt а link tо thе оrdеr pаgе with instruсtiоns, fоllоw thеm. If yоu hаvе аny quеstiоns, writе tо tесhnicаl suppоrt оn the оrdеr pаgе. You must соmplеtе thе vеrifiсаtiоn prосеss within 6 hоurs. This mеssаgе wаs gеnеrаted аutоmаtiсаlly."

I wrote "I agree" in the chat but nothing happened then.

Have you ever seen this before?

Is it scam?

Be sure to mark the message as SPAM so that it does not affect your stats.

OP, Etsy won't refer to you as "dear seller" and Etsy knows your email, financial data, and banking details. Don't respond. Put that message in spam.

SCAM!  Don't engage, and Mark as Spam (just so you don't get dinged for Star Seller). Should Etsy Staff/Support Message you, it will be in the "From Etsy" Folder, no where else.  Here is an Announcement about this folder, as well as other scams to watch out for.

When you receive an order, it will appear in your "Orders & Shipping" Page (in Shop Dashboard).  No where else. These scammers give me a pain (I personally haven't been targeted, but I can't stand seeing it happening to others, and constantly).

Remember, Etsy already have your email and financial information, so you don't need to enter it again anywhere

All of the above. Definitely a scam. 

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this but the font/text of the message is clearly 'off'. Not sure if it's obvious on other devices but on my desktop monitor at 90% zoom it clearly looks odd.

Like they used zeros instead of o's and some other e instead of and actual e. The a's look off too. 

Note that it looks "normal" at 100% and up.
