Technical issue With App Messages

I received a help request on my phone and answered the person on my desktop. Even though I answered it on the desktop (and you can see the conversation on the phone), the phone is still asking me for a reply and "Help Request" is still in yellow and in blue I see "A potential buyer is reaching out for the first time....send a reply in 24 hours". What should I do?

@HistoricalPix: Based on the numerous threads about this (and personal experience), the new message banner not going away appears to be only a user interface glitch which is not affecting any stats such as Star Seller.

There are many reports of inconsistencies in data displays between a browser and the app.

If you can see your reply in that thread, you should be okay.
