Technical bug in Legal and Tax Information

I am having problem for past one month in updating my shop Legal and Tax Information.
I am adding my GSTIN details but its not accepting it and showing "There was an error saving your taxpayer information. Please try again."

I have tried everything contacting them several times and they just told me that it was mistake on my part my GSTIN is active and working but they are denying the fact and just closing the call that its my fault. I am not getting any popup on clicking on etsy payment enroll.

Its frustrating that all my efforts of 5 years have gone into vain and they have suspended my shop. If anyone can help me with it I would really be thankful for them. I hope someone would reply to this post.

@CustomizedJewellery  - There have been many changes recently for shops in India. This announcement from Etsy:

Your shop's main page only shows PayPal as a payment method so possibly there are things you still need to do in updating your shop??
I can't look much further since your shop in vacation mode.

Thanks but yes i know this but they are not helping me out I am trying to fill GSTIN details but they are giving me error even though my GSTIN is active and fully functional

"A GSTIN is a combination of 15 numbers and letters, starting with 2 numbers. The 10 character PAN is part of a GSTIN. The PAN that you provide should be contained within the GSTIN number."

"To add a GSTIN to your shop

1. Sign in to Etsy and go to Shop Manager.
2. Open Finances.
3. Select Payment settings.
4. Choose Complete under Add your GSTIN.
5. Etsy will verify your GSTIN is valid and active.

If you see an error that the GSTIN isn’t active, contact the Indian tax authority for assistance."

"To add a PAN to your shop

1. Sign in to Etsy and go to Shop Manager.
2. Open Finances.
3. Select Legal and tax information.
4. Add your GSTIN and/or PAN under Primary Taxpayer ID.
5. Choose Submit to Etsy.

Please ensure that the PAN you provide is contained within the GSTIN you’ve added.

Your address on the Legal and tax information page must be set to your Indian address before you can provide us with your PAN."

Hi, I am facing exactly the same problem. Enrol in ETSY payment not working. GSTIN and PAN number is already added, but still they asking to ADD GSTIN. When I try to add GSTIN, the same error comes. My shop has been temporarily suspended by ETSY. ETSY support is not responding. If anyone got the solution for this, please let us know.

I am also having the same issue. After doing everything right, still stays in the same state, been couple of weeks now. Did it get resolved for anyone? How was it resolved, any clue? I hope it gets solved soon.

also having the same issue here etsy is not concerned about the problem i guess, even the customer support wont reply mails and on chat i think etsy is not interested in doing bussiness there are so many people starting there shop and bringing bussiness for etsy and for our selves but that does not concern etsy thats why so many sellers are fed up with etsy service and closed there account i have heard many cases from other sellers etsy is just safe place for buyers everything is for buyers etsy does not help sellers they only suspend there account and block there fund when they are doing well selling on etsy worst service from etsy

From last one week i am seeing only one page add you gst details and when we add is says there was an error saving tax information because of this my recieving payment account is not available buyers want my products but they are unable to checkout they share me screenshots that they cant check out with the order it shows this shop is temporarily not receiving any payments , i mean i have everything okay i have verified payoneer accoount ,verified papypal account, verified gst , everything is perfect just etsy is having the problem fixing the bug on there website if i had to review etsy from 1-5 star i would rate -0.00000 star , even the customer support service is the same its says it will take 1-0r less minute to reply from our agent while we are waited a week long still no reply not frm mail also

Same issue,  can't edit legal page information button

Same issue here - I get the message "Your GST is inactive - Please make sure if your registration is up to date." And my GST is live and active. I have tried contacting customer support for over a month now - every 3-5 days, and they just keep replying with "Check with your local tax authorities." or "We'll escalate the issue." And nothing ever happens. 

All my payment methods have been disabled and I am no longer able to make sales.
