I am stuck on an endless loop with Etsy "support" and don't know what to do.
I have had an Etsy shop for several months with no hiccups. Recently (three weeks ago) I made a larger than average sale (one item only) and Etsy sent me an email that they needed to re-verify my ID for tax purposes. No problem. Sent them the required docs and they sent me back an All Systems Go email that it had been verified, etc.
HOWEVER, during the time period they were verifying my info, they put my shop on Vacation Mode, and even though I have written them, opened a support case, sent them a copy of their own email stating my ID was verified, and inquired several times to explain if there is an issue...they don't respond except to tell me to submit my ID. I go to the page directed and there IS my ID, I re-submit it, and still my shop is on Vacation Mode. This has been going on for three weeks.
There are no issues or bad rating or complaints regarding my shop. Etsy has deposited funds recently for a past sale, so its not a banking issue. I'm at my wits end to get an answer from Etsy Support...and wondered...WHAT DO I DO? Does anyone have a real email address or real person or real phone number at Etsy?
