Back in August according to the order history file... one of my orders is showing that NO ship by date was provided.
This is a bug as all of my sales are connected with a shipping profile with a fixed ship by date range of 3 to 6 weeks.
I've been in contact with Etsy multiple times since with no resolution.
Anyone else experiencing this same issue?
"Anyone else experiencing this same issue?"
Yes. For the first time ever my on-time shipping and tracking is less than 100%. Its showing 99% but also says 0 orders shipped late and 0 orders missing tracking which is confusing. The csv download shows one order with no ship by date and shipped late. Both are false. The order shipped and was delivered before the 'ship by date' on the order.
I spent way too long with etsy support live chat (nearly 2 hours) eventually they said they can see that the information is in fact incorrect, the order did have a processing time , did have tracking and did ship on time. This is apparently a known issue that the tech team is working on so they have added my info and issue details to the reports for the tech team.
Long story short....they validated that the info was incorrect but can't fix it (but I already knew that would be the case)
It's super annoying.
Just know that you aren't alone.
Hi,
Schade.

@selbergekauft: An order still in "pre transit" usually means that the tracking information AS ENTERED cannot be validated.
What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).
Known issue? Well this issue has been happening for some time to some sellers. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to who and when it happens.
@WitticismsRus No words of wisdom here except I would use email and ask them to review it to see if there is something between the POD and Etsy that is not working correctly.
@ABitofWhimsyArt Again no words of wisdom but maybe redo shipping profile and move all listings to a new profile.
Everything is working fine between the POD integration and etsy. Thats not the issue.
It's an error/bug issue on etsy. Its been going on for many months based on the numerous other posts about the same issue I have read in the forums. Oh and yeah, I already sent an email support request.
It happened in my shop when the timezone was adjusted (at the back end). Before that the timezone didnt affect the ship by date. If my timezone in options was anywhere in the world, it wouldn't affect the ship by date. But now if I change the timezone of my shop, automatically the ship by date changes. I noticed when I wanted to dispatch with an extra 1 day and then it showed for plus 1 day, so the day after tomorrow was +1 day.
Thanks everyone for your input... it's been so frustrating, especially now with the holidays around the corner
This is all I keep getting:
"It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue that our engineering team is looking into. I’ve added all of the details from this ticket to their investigation on order missing processing time so they have more information to work with."
The issue seemed to start with mine from early January - it almost felt like the transition from 2023 to 2024 broke something. All 100% right up to the very end of December, and then the 'no's started peppering the csv file here there and everywhere. 10 months later and I'm now hovering precariously above the 80% standard service percentage. Etsy have been "looking into" it for a while now.
