Tearing my HAIR OUT ~ Stuck Filter Search issue

OMG... as if Search wasn't already a failed experiment. WTH has etsy done with categories and filters? WAY back in November I did a search looking for shops that ship to the UK (looking for a gift for the in-laws). Suddenly I am STUCK with "United Kingdom UK" as a filter in search.

Yes, I can X it out.
Yes, I can change the filter choice to United States

BUT, no matter WHAT I do, it ALWAYS reverts back to the  United Kingdom UK filter

I can't get rid of it except by x-ing it out EVERY time I do a new search (which was an already awful experience... and now there aren't words for whatever it's turned into)

Is this the experience our potential buyers are "enjoying"? Oughta be just dandy for sales.....

NOte: Putting this under Technical issues... because I'm hoping and praying this is a programming error

I see you are located in the US.  So if you view one of my listings - or any other listing - does it show shipping to the US, or UK?  If it shows shipping price to the UK, then click on that and change back to US with your zip code.

* actually, my items don't have UK shipping, so if you see "this item doesn't ship to your country" - that's  the issue.

If this solves your problem - it's a long-time glitch that viewing a listing and changing the shipping country - may e to just see what the cost would be - stays that way until we change it back.
