I have the orange dot on my page that's telling me I have reviews to give. When I click on it, it says "Sorry, we're having trouble loading your recent purchases. Please try Purchases and Reviews." When I go to those, the only one open to leave a review on still says "You can leave a review on August 3". Today is August 4, and I got the item I purchased about two weeks ago, so please fix this!

Its August 7th and the orange dot was still there and the purchase listing still said I could review on August 3rd. I went to contact the shop to see if he could mark it delivered (I don't know if a seller can), and I found the shop is GONE! Great, now I thought the dot will never go away. So I went thru the "contact us" thing, started a chat, which got thru almost right away, and the etsy person checked on it. Within about two minutes, she came back and said the order says "in transit", but since I'm telling her I got the item, she'd mark it delivered, and it should let me do a review. I didn't even care about the review at this point, I just wanted the orange dot off my page. Anyway, that worked, I left a review, and the dot is gone. So, for all I hear about not being able to contact etsy, was I just super lucky? I've never had to try to contact them before.
@FeltWithAHeart There are numerous threads on this forum about this issue with no resolution posted yet. Also, this is a seller peer to peer forum, not a way to contact Etsy if that is your hope.
@BagmakerSupply Thank you, but before I posted it, I did a search in the forum and nothing came up. I saw some about having problems with orders, but not reviews, so ???? I was just putting it out there, I guess.
I don't know if you're using the mobile app. If you are, maybe you could try a browser instead. Or use a computer. It's a shame really, because this is one of the Metrics Etsy grades us on. And to have it not be functional....
@ChillwolfArt I don't use the app, I'm on a computer, and it was odd, cuz I was able to post a different review on something I received today, so who knows. I'm not worried about being graded on it by etsy, just wanted to leave a good review for a fellow seller. Thanks, tho!

@SeasideRoseCreations No, sellers get graded on reviews, so if buyers can't leave reviews = problem for sellers.

Yes that is definitely odd.
@SeasideRoseCreations When I saw your question, I thought I was losing it for a minute (quite possible). And went over to the SS Metrics.
The second one at the top says something about, Keep going to get those Rave Reviews at 4.8. (They changed it from 5 Stars).
So yes, as Cappucino said, they do grade us on it. I remember thinking about the older mobile app, which never allowed the Customer to leave anything higher than 4 Stars. And how that was a long time known glitch. So if someone left a 4, you'd not know if they really intended to or left it with the glitchy app.
But if Sellers are going to be graded on Metrics, they should be functioning properly in my opinion.

@BagmakerSupply That just shows how good search works, cuz I got only really old ones, and when I looked for more current, these didn't show! Anyway, thanks. I'm not worried about it, I'm sure I'll be able to do it at some point, and all I was trying to do was give the shop a good review.

@CappuccinoLace Thanks. Funny how its so hit or miss. I've left other reviews since May, and one today, too. Its just this one that got caught in the bug.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I ordered something and it said I should be able to leave a review after a certain date. It's now almost a month later and I still can't. I couldn't contact Etsy and I didn't want to open a case. But I wasn't super happy with the product so I really wanted to put that information out there. But I haven't been able to.

Great news! How do you contact them via chat? I've had the hardest time contacting them because they have so many pre-made help screens for you to go through.

Contacting as a buyer is much easier than as a seller. As etsy wants buyers to be happy.
It sounds like @FeltWithAHeart had the Etsy Help deities watching out for them.
@TropicalTwistSlime I went into Shop Manager / Communication and Help / Contact Us / Buying On Etsy / Help with an order / (and then at the very bottom) I Still Need Help. It asked for the order number and your email and a brief description, and then you click on chat.
Hope it works for you! I know what you mean, usually I get to a menu and there's nothing that applies to what I need. This was a lot easier.
