Switching to Business issue

This is absolutely ridiculous and falls on deaf ears at Etsy. I tried to set up to business (canada) and it rejected the information  and as a result I did manage to get a call back from an Agent.

He increased the retry attempts but apparently did not and the system put me in Vacation mode requesting documents. I sent them all and still NOTHING.. Not my fault.. Fault of their system and I cannot switch back to individual while this is sorted out.

So Basically  I have no running store now since Friday Morning and Etsy is making zero efforts to help move this along.

@MonkeyIncByMila  :  If I understand you correctly, you are trying to change the legal form of ownership on your shop (for example from sole  proprietorship to corporation). Since Etsy accepted the documents and did not send you any requests for more information, unfortunately all you can do is wait until the paperwork is reviewed and you hear from Etsy. Read some of the threads in this forum and you will see that these things take time with Etsy.

No you did not understand correctly. I said I tried to enter the information  for the business. Business Number, GST Number etc and it did not accept the information. I had an Agent call me  and  said he increased the amount of retries so I could enter the information again but it still did not accept it and then put me into vacation mode requesting documents.

This is not fair to me as I could leave it running as an individual until the documents get sorted out

Your information may not match to help set up as a business now.  Try contacting Etsy through email, not phone and telling them what you are trying to do.  

You may need to verify that your information is correct with how you registered.  Have your read other threads to see if they had a similar problem and how they solved it? 

Do you have licenses for the items you are selling from what I see in reviews?  These are iconic figures and protected by trademark and copyright?

You might want to get all of your IP paperwork in order before you call any more admin attention to your shop.

OP was informed in another thread last week about IP infringement and obviously decided to ignore all the advice given...

There is no issue with that. I finally got an email they are reviewing the uploaded documents.

I have similar problem regarding the Business Registration No. not being accepted and then tried using my Business License No. and let me continue with the whole process however after 24 hours while listing my products I got Publishing Error and eventually I found out that I have a notice to double check my Legal and Tax Info and since the only issue I had before was entering the BRN I tried putting again the right BRN info I was able to save the edit however it still shows as my Business License No. and still have the notice to change Legal and Tax information. At MonkeyIncByMila were you able to resolve your problem and is it a format issue? It's only 9-digit no space or anything. Did you also have to add your Tax ID? I've been reading some threads wth sellers having issues regarding how Etsy is collecting/not collecting them from sales and it looks like it's better not to add the Tax info. I'd appreciate anyone's feedback.

oh man it took like 3 months until they got back to me and i had to keep uploading documents until eventually it was accepted
