Hello, okay, so I've been emailing Etsy about the same issue for almost 2 months now, actually I've had this problem since December, but it is now almost July, but my problem has still not been solved.
So, I created my shop in December, and got a sale, I completed the sale, but in that instance, I had not finished verifying the bank details due to not having access to the linked bank account at the time, i contacted the bank, and they reported not recieving the small deposits which Etsy sends you, okay, so now I switched to a new bank and no longer have access to the linked bank account, should be an easy fix right? Etsy gives the option to update your bank details, and so I try. But, every single thing can be changed except for "account type". I don't know why, but on the old and new Etsy mobile app, on the website through 3 different browsers. On all of them, I have that problem where I can choose an account type. And because of that, I can't fully update my banking information, I click verify but Etsy gives me an error message which is expected cause I didn't fill all the options (the only option not working being "account type"). So I've been emailing Etsy back and forth, speaking to different representatives every time because someon else always takes over the case. I repeat my story every single time, and they always ask me to resend screenshots, or that they can't see the problem or that I should just click verify and see what happens but I always tell them the same thing. So now, I don't know what to do, I have had funds waiting on the account since December, haven't been withdrawn, can't be withdrawn, because I can't update the banking details, in order to verify the same account... Etsy then suspended my shop, okay cool, makes sense, it's unverified, but they still aren't helping me verify it.... So I'm asking the same thing I asked in my emails.... Could Etsy please manually update my banking information for me, because at this point, I genuinely don't mind them have that information if it means they can actually update it for me... Either that, or, can they completely delete all the link banking information on the account so that I can put my current one, because clearly the app and website won't let me. Just some sort of a doable solution please, I genuinely have no other ideas, I'm losing hope.
