Hey, I just need some help with my Etsy account,
My Etsy charged me as my store was ready but, before it went ON my account was suspended because my TAX documentation wasn't acceptable and it's OK, I just need to know how can I get a refund and cancel my store, create other store or just went sell in another place.
I'm Brazilian, with visa, and ITIN type TAX and I registered with a USA address and, Etsy's asking for a American documentation.
I can deleted and create other account with my Brazilian info.
Can someone help me with any steps, cause I can't find any number to call, email to contact or anything helpful at the help center.
Thank you
Your account is "not" suspended.
If it was, you'd have a yellow banner showing and you don't.
You have 0 items listed though.
Do you see a notice on your dashboard/finance page?
Are you sure Etsy contacted you?
Was the message in the "FROM ETSY" section?
If not, you got a scam message.
Since you're a new shop, it could very well have been a scammer..
Etsy does not publish a phone # nor email. If you find either one online they are "fake".
You have to contact Etsy through the HELP pages,
ETA: The $15 set up fee is non-refundable.
Updated 6/24: Strengthening New-Shop Onboarding to... - Welcome to the Etsy Community
2. Introducing a shop set-up fee to support enhanced security and verification: This fee applies to most new shops. If the shop is required to pay the one-time set-up fee, the amount due will be shown before completing final shop set-up steps and before a shop can open for business. We’ll clearly communicate if the fee applies during the shop set-up process. This nonrefundable upfront investment will help to ensure new shops are committed to running a business on Etsy.
The set-up charge is non-refundable.
They have already done the work, finding out your id / country / bank etc does not match.
And you can't change the country of your shop, / bank account.
All you can do, is close this account,
and set up a new one properly
you will have to pay the setup charge again.
....
this is how to close your shop

Is your visa the correct kind for working?
Student visas, for example, do not allow visa holders to work in the USA except for very specific university related jobs.
