Sudden problem with my digital listing

I have sold  digital items (book folding pattern) for many years on here and offer both pre-made patterns and a custom pattern. In the case of the latter, obviously, I have to design it and send it once completed. My problem is that as of the last few days, my Custom pattern has, upon being purchased by customers, just automatically gone into my completed orders section and as a result I have missed several orders and it's upsetting my customers -most of my business is with repeat customers as they appreciate my quick turnaround.

 

I just don't understand why this has changed. I haven't done anything differently so I don't see why this has started happening.

 

As a side issue, why is there no way to directly speak to Etsy support? Absolutely none of the categories I can choose from in the Etsy "contact us" section are relevant.

It's a glitch.

You can try editing it in the OLD listing format, change to physical, publish, re-edit to digital made to order and publish.

But it'll keep happening because it's been happening for probably a year at this point.

If it helps, I contacted Etsy Chat about this yesterday and they told me it was a known issue and added me to the open ticket. No word on resolution or anything but they did say the tech team is "aware" of the issue for what that is worth. This also happened to me a few months ago and is so annoying. I make a habit of checking my "sold" twice a day now just in case....luckily my listings require clients to email me so I catch them but I did miss one last month where the client had noted "contact me for the info you need" and that client was mad about me not getting back to them.
