Still unable to upgrade the shipping label option...Tried both Safari and Chrome.

Please!!! I know I'm not the only shop with this same shipping upgrade option problem, Customer purchased first class but I need to sent the package priority flat rate..I'm Not able to purchase and print the priority shipping label,  just the first class....Please Fix ... Thank You!!!

I feel your pain. I know it's a hassle, but are you able to try Firefox? That worked for me.

Simple solution would be to try another browser and if that does not work, use Pirate Ship for your label.     You can import your orders, print the label and the Pirate Ship integration will automatically mark your order shipped on Etsy.

My fear is since Etsy programmers are allowed to do whatever they want, the errors are going to just increase throughout the site.

I'm having the same problem, except Etsy auto-selected a different method than what the customer paid for, and I'm unable to change it to the appropriate method. This is ridiculous!

It's fixed now! Click on the upgrade option you're needing to purchase and print. I had to go off Etsy yesterday to USPS to purchase the Priority shipping label. USPS just recently added that if you have a business account with them you can purchase Shipping labels at the same discounted rate as Etsy's rate.
