Still in holiday mode

The dreaded statement from Etsy.

When it states that this usually takes up to 48hrs i half expected to be up and running within that time frame. After posting on here a reply that then came said that each case is dealt with on a case by case basis and that the thread will be marked complete as this is considered a suitable response and has been accepted as a solution. I am am now on day 7 in holiday mode for something which is stated as usually sorted out within 48hrs. This rather large difference in timescales 48 hrs to 168hrs would indicate to me that there has been no solution whatsoever. I am getting no response from the support ticket that i have sent in either. Is there anything i can do to expedite this process or do i just have to sit back and watch my shop go down the pan? I'm trying hard to be positive about all of this but the frustration is getting to me a little. Not that i show it of course. Any help from anyone would be hugely appreciated.

Have you contacted Etsy and asked for an update?  If you got a reply email, did you email back asking for an update or it something else is needed.

Yes, it appears to be taking longer than expected as Etsy has a great many verifications to do.

Yes i have mailed them and i update the email everyday stating that i still need help. No reply or help of any sort from them. I appreciate that they may have lots of reviews to carry out but to state that it usually takes 48hrs and then 7 days later still be no further forward is not good for us sellers. Maybe they should update their statement to at least set some sort of realistic expectation for this to be done.
