For the second day in a row, I woke up to my shop stats stating views were up several hundred percent. I assumed it was bots again. The real views, favorites, and activity in my shop did not support any improved visibility. Again this morning Etsy stats are telling me that my shop is getting 34, 35, and 36 visits per hour all night long. Normal for my shop is only 1 or 2 views per hour after midnight. When I looked at what items were viewed, those viewings were ALL sold out listings going back to at least 2010. I know that archived items are sometimes able to be seen by people shopping, but it seems very strange that 35 and 36 overnight views of sold items from 15 years previous is a phenomenon that I have never seen before, and must be a technical glitch. Is anybody else experiencing the wonky stats?
I have 0 views, which is very strange.
@Sassydoggs- Yes, everything in my views, EVERYTHING, is a sold out item. Not just a few here and there like always happens....EVERYTHING!
Mine also
A glitch? On Etsy? Really?
I seem to have missed this one.
Gosh, we hate to have you miss out on one!!!
Someone needs to unplug Etsy today and plug it back in. Is it even on?
@Sassydoggs Same here. Yesterday and today. Many more views than normal, and the very large majority of them are of sold items. Many go back years. Very strange. The sellers reporting this here (so far) all sell vintage. Even stranger.
I woke up to 300+ views and had 0 favorited items and 0 sales all day...LOL!
Same here. I am stressed to the max that this is happening at this time of the year of all times. November was not that great and now this! Started on December 1st. My views and visits were through the roof. Extremely high numbers at 6:00 a.m. In the morning and ran through all day. It's been happening since then. Today was the highest with not one sale, devastating. Is this a glitch in the system? Does anybody know if Etsy is on top of this? I'm wondering how much longer this is going to go on.
Doesn't seem like they are on top of much anything these days...just letting the bots run it all.
None of this makes any sense. Etsy is losing money when people are not making sales. Why wouldn't they be on top of this? I don't understand it. I'm not trying to be naive but doesn't make any sense.
@sassydoggs, Has anybody looked into this? Do you know? Is this a technical issue?
