Was just going to post about this! By mid morning my shop is typically at any where from 60 to 150 views, depending on the season, along with some favoriting and maybe some sales. It's 10;30 est in the US and my stats are still at 0!
Seems to be quite widespread! I am now showing views and finally had a bit of activity. Still showing no visits. Typically by the time I check the app at 9am, my views are anywhere between 60 (when my shop is slow) to 120ish when I'm busier, and I have had anywhere from 20 to 50 visits. 0 across the board is definitely not normal, particularly since we are getting closer to mother's day. Whatever kind of glitch this is i do think it's impacting some level of visibility, because now that I'm showing 50 views, I'm having a little bit of favoriting activity.
Mine is variable but I've always seen something besides 0's for many years.
I saw views a few minutes ago and now I see visits too.
Just guessing (but I did work in IT for most of my working life), but this has the feel of an infrastructure error rather than a programming issue. And those do happen to the best of companies. But in my companies, we let our customers know.
No one likes a system hiccup. (and I doubt than any company is immune from these).
But a lot of companies have figured out that communicating, even the hiccups, is better than silence. Lots of reasons ... it demonstrates honesty, it shows concern for customers, it reduces the risk of customers assuming things that are even worse than the hiccup, it minimizes swamping a help desk with calls ... it's better than total silence.
I can live with a hiccup to a system. But I'm really disappointed in the Etsy silence.
I got an order several minutes ago, multiple message with a few customers and still zeros across my board. I'm sure whatever the technical issue it will be fixed soon.
Hi everyone! It was a bit scary at first to see the '0 dashboard' and not know what was going on. I'm really relieved to hear it's just a technical glitch - and even more reassuring to see that others are experiencing the same issue. Fingers crossed it gets sorted out soon!
Mine have been oddly up. Not sure why since I’m not even trying & I was on vacation mode 4 months (another coming up soon) due to ongoing illness with a family member.
Stats are showing as zero on my shop too - I have had sales although it is slower than usual, which is strange as I am running a sale. Hope Etsy sorts this out for us soon.
They seem to be coming back for me too, but I'm currently at 57 views and 11 visits at noon est, which indicates my shop was not showing up in search until now, unless there is a lag in the update
