In stats if i click on 'etsy marketting and SEO' and scroll down to 'search terms used' it is blank. Always has been blank. Says no data available. I thought maybe it needed time. It has been blank for 11 months now. Is this a glitch or have i set something up incorrectly.
The orange banner at the top of each listing's stat page says: ''Traffic Sources, Search Terms, Social Media, or Websites are not available for date ranges under three days.''
Change the view from 'today' to 'last 30 days' or 'this year' to get a better idea.
Good grief, the answer is this simple?
Ok my page doesn't sound like it looks the same as yours as i donot see this banner.
Anyways, under stats i changed it to last 30 days and it worked.
I navigated away from the page and now it is nlank again
@Former_Member The orange banner only shows up on the listing's stat page when you have the view on ''today''. It doesn't show when you have it on 7 days and up. It could also be because of the device you're using.
If you kept it on 30 days and the search term area is blank on the next listing you looked at, there's a good chance that nobody used a search term yet for that item. They could have viewed it after finding another listing of yours.
I can see stats under everything except etsy marketing and seo.
I would be more concerned about getting your licensing details in order to show you have the rights to sell handmade Hello Kitty, Transformer, Rainbow Brite, Star Wars, etc items.
Otherwise it will look like you have a lot of counterfeit items in your shop that the IP holders could request deactivation. Multiple offences, etsy could put you on payment reserve or close your shop entirely without warnings.
Read the counterfeit paragraph:

How does that help with the stats page?
@Former_Member: "How does that help with the stats page?" Directly not at all, but under forum rules we are not supposed to help shops that are violating Etsy policies.
I am sure that it was meant as as friendly advice that you need to include the licensing information for all of the trademarked and copyrighted names and images in your shop's listings, otherwise buyers (and Etsy) may conclude they are counterfeits. And a buyer could file a not as described case against you and both get their money back and keep the item. Not to mention the costs to you if the intellectual property owners come after you. Including the licensing information will show that you are not selling those items illegally.
Great. Ok. I still am trying to find stats on seo.
@Former_Member: Etsy stats are notoriously "iffy". Plus you may have a misconception about the data you are looking for. Etsy marketing & SEO shows you the "Visits from traffic through Offsite Ads on Google and Bing or search engine optimization to drive more traffic to your shop from external channels." https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015628207?segment=selling#traffic
Are you are looking to see how your SEO is doing?
I want to see what search terms are being used to land on my products
1 Visits over time - stats
2 Most visited listings -stats
3 Traffic source breakdown -stats
And then
4 search terms- What search terms are people using to find your shop or listings? Use these as ideas for listing tags. - no data available.
@Former_Member: You will probably need to drill down by individual listings. Our "Etsy Marketing and SEO" only has 1 search term for the past 30 days, but if we look the data for the same time period on individual listings we see many search terms.
