Statistics feature has always been inaccurate but since the platform change this year, statistics are now WORTHLESS. Numbers are contradictory from one screen to another and events are randomly tallied.
Two items "favorited" yesterday and one does not even show up as being seen. How does that happen?
Along with difficult, hidden avenues for feedback, support, and customer service the platform belies the company's "Make Commerce Human". Not at all "human" from the viewpoint of the sellers about Etsy. You are not there for us when needed
Listings can be favorited in a search or when viewing your shop front. The heart can be clicked without having to open and view the listing.
Thank you. Listings viewed are not always registering. We have tested. Also, when opening stats, example one day this week, showed seven, drop to detailed stats and the number is 0. The next day "yesterday" shows five.

Views fluctuate up and down all day. They are in real time and often contain bot views which are filtered out when stats update several times a day.
I don't depend on accuracy on "Today" statistics. They are slow to load and inaccurate. For the "real" ("final") daily numbers and items, I look the next day. "Yesterday" is also not accurate.
My stats show visit and view numbers but doesn’t show which items were viewed. This started happening in the last few days. Anybody else having this issue?
It happened one week after I loaded the "new" App on my iphone a couple of months ago. To see which items are viewed I have to open Etsy on my computer browser and the numbers seldom match
