My stats are not complete, meaning I have missed out on the star seller this month.
I dispatched 5 orders on 30th May - and are showing as dispatched on my Etsy order page - however the CVS file is only showing 2 dispatched both on this month (June) and next month's (July) spreadsheet.
The difference of the 3 missing orders has meant I have just missed out of receiving the star seller badge.
How can I have this technical error looking into?
Thanks, Sarah
@2GreenMonkeys: What was the scheduled ship day date for the orders? It appears that an order is not counted for Star Seller until after that date even if the order shipped earlier.
Did Etsy Support or the Help Pages send you here? This is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

Thank you.
Ahh thank you, yes that must be the reason why.
Yes it was shipped earlier - although that makes NO SENSE to negatively effect ratings for shipping orders early now!
Yes on the
How to Become a Star Seller
it says
"If you think your Star Seller score was calculated incorrectly, you can let us know in the Technical Issues forum." - so I presumed someone would look into it!? lol
Thanks for working it out though.
Sarah
It's not the intent to affect you negatively. It's purpose is to give people until the ship-by. By that I mean it's a program that all it does is read something like, 'order due to ship by X date. Check on X date. Did order ship, Y or N'. As long as it shipped before or on that date, it qualifies. There is nothing in the program to say, 'did the order ship early?'
That's why it works the same for messages. Because you have 24 hours to respond, if you get a message on the last day and its response is required on the 1st of the next month, it won't matter if you respond in 2 minutes or 23 hours. The program doesn't check if something is done early, only if it's been completed by the end of the required time.
Bagmaker is right. And no one will "look into" your complaint. Etsy has stated it will not manually adjust or reconsider the metrics
Even if orders are placed, shipped, and received in one month, it seems that if their original ship-by date is in the next month, they will not be counted in the stats until that time.
Yes, thank you. I just wished they would make these rules transparent - would save a lot of confusion!
