Why does my shop sow that I’ve met the criteria for star seller but it hasn’t been awarded?

@FirstFriendBoutique  - There is the Star Seller 'award' for December which used your stats from September, October & November. 

The Star for January, 2023 will based on your stats for October, November & this month December.

You may be looking at Etsy's notice that as of today you are on track to receive the full badge in January.

To review your stats for this month's star - I believe you need to click back in the stats to previous months.

Lick on "LAST review period", and you will see what your currently displayed stars are for

There should even be a message in your dashboard, about that it can take 24 hrs to display. I find mine takes until mid day or so, to update in my shop for the display, if there's a change.

This may be a silly question, but what dates are actually used in determining on time shipping? I made and shipped orders in November that I could have waited until Dec to ship, but shipped early to keep my badge - am I doing it wrong?

In looking at my shipping CSV (snapshot above), I had the required 95% in November to earn my Star Sellers Badge, however, it wasn't awarded for December but shows me on track for January? I am trying but cannot seem to find answers in the forum to answer my Q. TIA!

The ship by date. 

You missed the one due the 25th and shipped late on the 26th.

Sounds like that order was enough to kick you out for December (based on how many orders you had in Sep/Oct/Nov), but based on your Oct/Nov/Dec orders to this point, you have enough to get it back in January, as long as you don't miss any ship by dates this month.

Just to add to the advice ^^^^^ by @audreytherese Etsy used UTC for the CSV Reports. Depending on where you are located and time zone differences, the next day may come quicker than you anticipate.

In future, perhaps move out the "Processing" time by another day or two? Looks like you have 1-3 days so 1-5 days should cover you.

orders due to be shipped into the next month, won't be counted in the month they were placed.

This is because your ship by date isn't till the next month, and etsy gives you time to ship them by that date.

This is why etsy doesn't count the last 2 days of the month for stats.

@CappuccinoLace In this OP's case she actually missed the 25 Nov Shipping Date.

Also. although I understand the "Processing" date sets the attribution Month, I have become a bit wary of this due to many people who have, this Month, reported issues with Orders shipped 29/30 Nov with Dec deadlines who have been penalized for the November Shipping Metric. 

Although the stats will update for the 01 Jan Badge, I do not know if the SSP updated in their Shops after the initial loss of the 01 Dec Badge.

@CarpetCollectionAU  I'm aware, I was just pointing it out for the OP, as she mentioned the december orders.

Etsy never counts the last 2 days of the month for stats, for this very reason. Yes, those orders go against them for the new month badge 2 days later, but will then be included for the following months badge.

There has to be a cut off somewhere....
