Hi there, my star seller rating is not 100% because of one purchase where there was a in person pickup and no tracking. Can the rating be amended? Thanks for any advice

"What if I offer local pick-up or delivery for my items?
At this time, orders that don't have tracking because they are delivered or picked up in person will be considered shipped without tracking, and will not meet the Star Seller criteria for shipping."

Here's exactly what it says in Etsy help
All physical listing orders must include a valid tracking number or a postage label purchased on Etsy to be considered for a Star seller Badge. At this time, we’re unable to make exceptions for local pickup orders.
So there straight answer is no.
It is the same for drop offs as I learned some months ago when I lost my star despatch badge. A previous customer asked me to send another order to his works address rather than his listed home address as he wasn't planning to go home for some weeks. Send to a different address is a common scam tactic. Since the item was of high value and his works address was only 30 minutes away from me I decided to hand deliver. I'd already checked out the address to be a clinic where I would have to have my visit recorded. He didn't seem that pleased when I handed him the watch in front of one of his colleagues and he has not bought from me since (I know he has bought a few watches from a couple of other dealers) but I may have avoided a pricey scam albeit at the loss of my star ratings badge.
Frankly I'd rather do what is right for my business and customers than worry about if it costs me a badge.
No, it can not be amended. And it is correct. The star program is an overly simplistic one which does not accommodate many diverse selling situations. Nor does it reward all good customer service which includes in-person deliveries. I periodically loose the star for this reason and so far it hasn't impacted my traffic or sales. What I've done is encouraged local shoppers to purchase directly from me since Etsy does no longer supports these types of sales. I've done this via local posting, shared newsletters for people who have signed up and with targeted social media. I also include the information in a card with a local order. It's taking time but it's working.
Thanks for the feedback! This is very helpful.
