I’m new to Etsy and I met all 5 requirements for star seller and did not get the badge the first of the month. Is there a way to find out why? Or why would this happen? Thanks a lot.
You have to be on Etsy for 90 days before you can earn the Star.

" In order to be evaluated, you need to have been on Etsy’s platform for 90 days since your first sale and comply with applicable policies, including our Seller Policy and our Terms of Use."
Also take note of this, regarding your "Grinch", "Smiley" and "Taylor Swift" items. IP violations can cause your Star to be permanently removed.
Ok. I guess I’m just confused since it said my evaluation period ended on 11/30.
Also, thank you for pointing those 3 out. I have deactivated all listings in reference to them. I will also sit and re-evaluate my others.
I appreciate your feedback.
also FYI at some point TS was suing people for using her IP. Also VERY recently smiley was getting shops shut down and permanently banned from selling on etsy. I'm sure you don't want either of those things to happen to you.
edited: It looks like you removed those so that's good. The only other one I saw is the one that has the christmas tree cake. Little Debbie also takes it VERY seriously and there have been a lot of people that have had those listing removed.
I also would take the Taylor swift image out of your shop banner.
@CrossnCrownDesigns: On December 1st, was your first sale more than 90 days prior? When you say "I met all 5 requirements" does your previous period tab on your Star Seller page (which shows stats for December star and badges) confirm this?
Thank you for the reply. Yes, my 3 months ended on 11/30.

If your first sale was 90 days from Nov 30, you are eligible from Dec 1, so you don't qualify for the badges recently awarded, but you should qualify next month, as long as you once again meet all five requirements.
Thank you! I will count back to double check. I appreciate your response.
@cutebutton Thank you. You are correct in guessing I don’t want that to happen
Good for you for actually listening to solid advice HAHAHA.
Your shop is really nice and you have plenty of things that to me seem perfectly fine to sell.
Many people say they don't care and that they will do it because everyone else does LOL. They might care when they are sued.
A few sales from the shirts won’t cover a lawsuit. Ain’t no way 🙅
I’m just starting out and still learning. I welcome any and all advice. I want this to be a solid stream of income for me and my family while my kids are in school, I don’t want to do anything that would jeopardize that
