Etsy's Live Chat

I'm not even angry anymore. I've been selling on Etsy for about eight months. During this period, I could not get the help I wanted from Live Chat even once. But the last incident I experienced is really unfortunate:

I connected to Live Chat about my store being on Reserve Payment for no reason. A similar thing happened months ago, and they came back to me two weeks later saying, "This happened due to a mistake, we're sorry."

This time, I told the Live Agent to prevent the same thing from happening. He said he would connect me to another agent.

As you can imagine, he did not pass it on to anyone else. And even though Live Chat has been open for the last 16 hours, no one is answering. I can't start a new conversation either.

I will probably close my store this week as I cannot continue my sales unless there is cashflow. Really rude behavior.

@CalmThink: You should include your licensing information in the listings for all of the trademarked and copyrighted names and images so that no one thinks you are infringing on intellectual property rights or selling what could otherwise be considered by a buyer (or Etsy) as counterfeits. A buyer could open a case against you and get their money back and keep the item. Perhaps that is the reason for the reserve.

 

Also we will be able to assist you in the future as your fellow sellers are not supposed to help a shop that is breaking the law or Etsy rules.
