If I look at my list of completed orders, it shows that I provided tracking and shipped on time for every order I've received, but if I download my order history, it didn't pick up the tracking number I had entered when I shipped the order and as such this is the second month in a row that I haven't had a star seller status.
you need to put the tracking number in, before the ship by date,
and some, at the end of the month, are rolled over to the new month, so take a couple of days to catch up.
luckily, star seller doesn't affect search placement
I put the tracking number in the day after it was ordered which is well within my 2-5day shipping time I have selected.
@DiceplacerBeast You really have to watch those "dates" as well, as @CraftyCornishMaids said--the last couple of days of the month are crucial.
I mailed some parcels on Monday and they were not counted for November and all were even delivered on Wed (still Nov!). They will catch up and be counted for December--I have run into this before.
Yep. Several of us have had similar issues this month. I suggest reading through the threads for more information. We are hoping that Etsy will see all these posts and do something about it, but it doesn't appear likely.
I noticed this too! I downloaded my orders and it said a different ship by date than the ship by date was in the email I got for each of the transactions. It did seem to be all the orders at the end of the month so hopefully the others are right that Etsy "will catch up" .. But as of now I'm not a star seller because of this technical error....
@WhenInAroma Same. In fact I just checked the CSV for the current month (For Jan SSP) and the CSV has caught up and shows the tracking on the 2 orders from the last 2 days of the month-- but the CSV for the prior period (DEC SSP) still shows them without tracking numbers. So for everyone saying it would "catch up" it doesn't appear to resolve the issue-- the DEC CSV captured those 2 shipments during the lag-- where even though I had entered the tracking numbers, they weren't showing up. And for everyone insisting the last 2 days of the month don't count, it's just not an accurate statement. Definitely frustrating.
But now I've learned about integrations and I just shipped my first order using pirate ship where it pulled the info directly from Etsy and automatically added the shipping info, so hopefully that will solve the problem.
