For the star seller calculations for my shop on message response rate Etsy is showing a a message that I was supposed to have received on 041124. I don’t show receiving any messages that day. Could someone please look into this for me.
thanks!
@Treasurefromthenorth - Check your Spam folder. Etsy was automatically sending real messages to the spam box. If you replied to late or took the message out of the spam box to reply it's quite possible the time delay is being held against you. Though it's not supposed to.
Also, look to see if you have any Help Request messages. These are kept separate from any other message thread you may have had with a buyer.
Do note, the forums are peer to peer only. Etsy does not come to the forums. If you can't find the message you'll need to open a help ticket with Etsy. It might be better if you avoid mentioning the Star program & concentrate on the fact that you have a missing message, if that is the case.
Star seller calculation occur on the first of the month, not on the 11th.
Cehck the CSV, Check to see if it ended up in spam. If it was a message that was supposed to be in the main message box, it was still considered a legit message that needed to be answered.
If this drives down you star seller and it is a message that should not have ended up in Spam, contact Etsy about it.
BTW this is a peer to peer forum. Etsy does not answer questions here mostly.
@Treasurefromthenorth: "I don’t show receiving any messages that day." Check the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page. There is a link to the actual message thread so you can verify if the data is correct or not. When you look at the file remember that that the dates / times are in UTC (not your time zone), only the first message of a new incoming thread is included (all that counts for Star Seller), and usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied. Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) seem to be updated only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay.
