for on time shipping with tracking, etsy counts orders, not sales
make sure you are looking at - PREVIOUS review period, as that is what was used for the 1st Dec calculation
the CURRENT review period is what you are working towards for 1st Jan
Hi there, Yes, there were 25 orders in the previous period, i.e. from Sept to Nov.
My stats show 90% on-time shipping and tracking. Order breakdown: 18 orders shipped on time, 1 order shipped late, 0 order missing tracking info, and 0 order due today. Please advise how the 90% on-time shipping and tracking result was calculated.
@dmireshop: It looks like you have two orders with an issue, perhaps one is missing processing time?
The source of truth (and the Star Seller %) is the applicable CSV file on your Customer Service (Star Seller) page where you can see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
Thanks for the comment! Two questions:
1. I uploaded the tracking number by the 'tracking number backfill' form 2 days ago, but the order history (both current and previous review periods) hasn't been updated.
2. In current review period, 19 orders shipped on time, 1 shipped late, 90% with on-time tracking. I'm wondering how the 90% is calculated. I assume it is (1-1/20) x 100%=95%. I would appreciate your advice, thanks!
@dmireshop: "I'm wondering how the 90% is calculated." The CSV file will answer that. Is one of your orders showing *Had processing time?* = no? For 20 total orders, 90% means that two orders must have some issue.
"... but the order history (both current and previous review periods) hasn't been updated" Etsy does not update Star Seller or statistics retroactively so the state of your account on December 1st is what it will stay as.
percentages are calculated the same everywhere
check the csv, to see the actual numbers, not the orders thenselves
Thanks for the explanation! From the csv, I found the orders were up to end Nov. I have some orders in Dec that have been shipped on time, please advise when they would be seen on the csv.
Etsy calculates the stars it dispays on the 1st of the month, for the 3 previous months
for the stars you have now, it is for sept/oct/nov
when etsy calculates in 1st Jan, it will be for oct/nov/dec
Thanks for the reply! If there is a shipment that has no processing time like the one I had before, how can I find it and fix it before etsy calculation on the first of a month? Please advise.
no, you can't fix it
So, what can I do for that matter, if the shipment has no problem?
