Dear Etsy Community,
I'm writing to seek your advice regarding a frustrating issue I'm facing with my shop. My listings are being repeatedly removed, citing non-compliance with Etsy's Creativity Standards,, which is causing significant inconvenience.
I've been an active seller on Etsy since 2016, offering handmade products that I create myself. I believe in Etsy as a valuable platform and have always strived to adhere strictly to its policies. However, due to the constant removal of my listings and the revocation of my Star Seller badge, I'm feeling disheartened and my shop's growth is being hindered.
I've reached out to Etsy support but have only received automated responses. I've also requested live customer support and was informed that a representative would get back to me via email, but I haven't received any follow-up.
I'm reaching out to the Etsy community for support. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and found a solution?
Thank you in Advance
Michael
We are seeing many sellers having their listings removed because of violating Etsy's Creativity Standards some shops have since been closed for receiving too many.
It seems they are clamping down on those listing with the wrong core details. Handmade, designed & sourced
The couple of listings I looked at show you have your core details listed as "Made by"
But then in the description, you have
"We use the highest quality USA or Italian Made chain and components to craft a beautiful necklace you'll love."
Made by, should only be selected, if you actually make the item from scratch yourself with your own hands.
All your listings are at risk, whilst your core details are incorrect.
There are also several Turkish sites which have stolen your images, this could be another reason. They are selling your pieces on average for 11$ and are using your exact images. Check the images from the listings that have already been taken down and see if they were stolen as well. Issue the take down notices to these sites and send Etsy the proof and results.
Thank you very much for taking the time to check and response.
You are absolutely right. This was true when I opened the store but then I created everything from scratch but the sentence was nevre removed. I will do it immediately.
Also I would appreciate if you could give me more details how I could check about my stolen photos.
Once more thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
You can use google to reverse image search, just right click on your image and click search with google lens
Or hold your phone camera over the image and click search
Keep bugging Etsy until you get someone to listen to you. It took me a whole month of phone calls, emails, and chats. Once they realize their error they will relist your items and reinstate your star seller badges.

Admins general don't answer questions here.
It is not Etsy's responsibility to police photos on other sites. YOU must pursue your own intellectual property rights by filing the appropriate DMCA forms with each website that is stealing your photos.
After you have had those stolen photos taken down, try contacting Etsy again with proof that the images are yours, and yours alone.
Good luck.
