Star seller badge not counting last 5 days of messages

I have qualified for star seller in the past and achieved the badge. This month, there was a communication mishap which led to the late response of 1 message (of 14). In the last 5 days, I've received 4 new messages, all before July 1, and replied immediately to all.

Star seller badge is not counting those messages even though they were within the star seller consideration period up to June 30. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Etsy customer support insists they cannot manually change the badge though I have proof of my percentage being higher than 95%.

Not sure how you are calculating the 95%.  4 messages will not make up for the 1 message.  It's not a 1 to 1 ratio.  

For example if you had 20 messages and you responded to 19 of them and not 1 that would make you rating go down to 95%.  So if you had less than 20 messages your rating would be lower than 95%.  You didn't say how many messages you have total so that's why I wasn't sure how you were calculating it.

edited **** never mind I see.  So you had 13/14 so now you would have 17 out of 18 so that's why you don't have 95%.

Yep! That's correct. I double checked and technically I have 18/19 answered messages within 24 hours. The last 24 hour period was up before July 1.

Also, messages from  the last day or two of the month aren’t counted until the next month.

Do the math:

(answered on time) / (total messages not spammed) = percentage
