Star seller On-time dispatch & tracking - Incorrect

Star seller is showing 98% On-time dispatch & tracking. I downloaded the spreadsheet to check and on there was 1 order which was showing that it was not dispatched on time. So I checked on Etsy online and on my app, both show that the particular order was dispatched on time and the buyer received the parcel. I am now worried that if another error on Star Seller calculations go the wrong way then I will lose my Star Seller's badge Can someone at Etsy please review this and tell me why this has happened or did I do something wrong?

Hello @BubbleheavenShop,

After carefully checking the order that affected your Star Seller, it appears that the tracking events aren't showing on Etsy. In cases like this, it is possible that the shipping carrier’s tracking may not be supported on Etsy. If Etsy cannot process your carrier’s tracking events, please consider using an alternate carrier. The number being entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number. You can also check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.

@BubbleheavenShop   This is a seller peer to peer forum, not a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope.  Does the actual order on your orders and shipping page show that it was delivered?

it is showing as dispatched and delivered - just the star seller spreadsheet is wrong.

No idea how to contact Etsy directly to discuss - any suggestions greatly appreciated.

As you are in the UK, Etsy's aftership sometimes makes errors.  Did you ship within your processing time frame?

The order was processed and dispatched on time, and I had other orders the same day all sent out and they all showed as on time on the spreadsheet, that's why I thought it a bit odd.

@BubbleheavenShop    What does the actual order show for the status of the shipment (this is what Etsy does by)? Have you checked the CSV file on your star seller page? Our experience is that the CSV file is often behind reality. Make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor (Aftership) for tracking and often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Our experience is that after a day or two the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status, although anecdotal evidence in this forum would indicate that Aftership has issues with Royal Mail.

@BubbleheavenShop  The people at the Etsy help desk have no ability to do anything about Star Seller.

My store's stats are also incorrect.  Item that "dinged" my account was shipped same day. 🤦‍

I am aware that this is peer to peer forum but THIS is where Etsy support's menu directed me.

Hoping Etsy detects their glitch and fixes the stats on ALL stores that were affected.

@CobwebandThistledown: "I notice I’ve gone down from 98%. To 97% today for no reason" There is a reason - the current statistics are based on July, August, and September , yesterday (now Previous Period) it was based on June, July, and August.

Etsy will ding you on shipping if you don't have a processing time listed on that order. Double check your listing.

Etsy also dinged my account because I use Pirateship!  This I verified with Etsy!

Same here. The item arrived within 2 days. I entered tracking and related info and can only assume as the item was sent within Ireland. I notice I’ve gone down from 98%. To 97% today for no reason

Using Etsy labels has a bad record for tracking. I use Pirateship for on time tracking.  I've been dinged for shipping using Etsy labels only to receive a good revue on the item while Etsy tracking still shows in transit!
