I just lost the star sellers badge. All packages were sent within my timeframe. Two different sales, where clients purchased multiple items that were shipped together. In all cases, the tracking number was manually added into the additional purchase shipping information and noted as completed. Pretty crappy to do everything correctly and still get docked. Doesn’t sound like Etsy will correct it, so I have to accept it.
@EmbellishingU2 Did you review all of the info on a desktop too?
Do not worry. I've had this badge from the beginning until now. It didn't affect my sales. This month, not the first time I didn't get it because the client asked me to send the item she bought in 6 weeks. Etsy only allows you to extend the shipping time by 3 weeks. I had a choice: either to please Etsy or the client. I chose the latter.
Thank you, it doesn’t matter much, I know. I am just irritated that I do the correct steps and still lose it.
@EmbellishingU2: Have you checked the actual orders to make sure that the shipping information on them is correct? We often ship multiple orders in a single shipment and as long as the completed date, shipper, and tracking number are the same on all of the combined orders we have never had an issue.
I understand what you stated. Yes, I copied and pasted the tracking number and completed the shipping information to complete the order. I have done this before. This time I completed the step on the phone app.
@EmbellishingU2: First reaction is that the cause is a glitch with the app - there are so many reports of things not working properly in the app that many people in this forum suggest using a browser, even a mobile browser.
Perhaps one of the Etsy admins who sometimes reads these posts will see this one and double check the data for you.
@EmbellishingU2 If for example you had 2 orders from the same buyer and you shipped the 2 orders in 1 box then entered the tracking number in the 2 orders you would not lose your SS badge. Something else is going on. I would double check the tracking number for accuracy and make sure you entered all of the numbers and I would also download the order history and recheck. Did you contact chat support on this or not?

Yep it shows it. Ah I see the tracking number is missing the last number. Copy/paste missing one digit.
Oh wow that sucks!
yeh-that will do it...sorry!
@EmbellishingU2 Glad you figured it out. Too bad there's not a better way. When I copy and paste the number (desktop) the word "track package" is pasted with the number. I always have to delete the words.
