That could be a glitch or it could be the wording is a little misleading.
If the buyer says they "just received it" that might actually mean it arrived 3 years ago but they didn't notice it then and they are just reading it now. Kind of like how you leave someone a voicemail message and then they call back hours or days later and say "I just got your message." It would be more accurate to say "I just heard your message" but we don't always say things in a really accurate way.
