etsy  stats say not replied to within 24 hours.

@OnHighat5 does the reply show in the same thread as the original message you received? Or did you send it in a new thread?

Responding within the help request does not count as a response for star seller. You also have to respond to the initial message from the customer. I know it seems silly as you did reply, but star seller rules say every initial message needs a reply or be marked as spam. This happened to me, as well, when star seller first started.

I replied to the initial message and included the help request in that.

Help message is not the same as other messages.  It is separate.  You need to answer both.  The Help messages allows the buyer to open a case within 48 hours if needed.
