DuckDuckGo

I want to share this for people that may be troubleshooting DuckDuckGo issues with Etsy.

For days I've been trying to print a packing slip for an order and kept getting this:

Uh oh!

Sorry, the page you were looking for was not found.

I did a LOT of research and did not find anything.  Then, I thought about DuckDuckGo being a browser that does not track your activity.  Etsy does not like that.  They also do not like VPN's.  So, I opened etsy with Edge and was able to print the packing slip.

Conclusion: Etsy does not like DuckDuckGo.  You can assume that their relationship with DuckDuckGo will not be the same as Google or Bing, etc, where activity IS tracked.

Re: DuckDuckGo

Etsy only supports the major browsers.  Smaller browsers are not ones Etsy designs Etsy for.

I've thought about Duck but honestly I don't want the hassle.  Chances are a lot of things I need to do Duck would prevent.

I just use higher security with Edge and are more active to remove cookies that I don't want.

Re: DuckDuckGo

I agree that most likely, Etsy only supports major browsers.  DuckDuckGo is now considered major??!!  The difference may be that Duck respects anonymity and does not track your browsing...and...the others do.  That's why I not only dropped and went to Duck, but also added SurfShark VPN.  Etsy does not like them either.  The small annoyances of having both to keep my anonymity is worth it.  As for cookies, the choices given to us are not good enough yet.
