Hello,
I usually, but don't always, use Etsy to purchase postage. I sometimes use UK Royal Mail directly but not their Tracked Mail service as this would mean that I'd have to travel to a different town to post my items as my local post office does not accept tracked items. Yes - the solution is to use the Etsy Service but I cannot always do this. This situation then affects the Star Seller status, which seems unfair as i have sent the items on time.
Please also be aware that the current industrial action being taken by Royal Mail is having a detrimental effect on our businesses.
This is a seller forum, so you are only talking to other sellers, not etsy,
........
Post offices - all of them, have accepted 24 and 48 tracked since 17th November, it has changed because of the strikes.
.......
Before I changed to 24 tracked because of the strikes, etsy was accepting the QR number as fine for star seller - as it has proof of delivery
however, one poster thinks this caused them to be put on reserve, it didn't do it to me .... so your choice on that one.
Our local post office is part of a retail complex and definitely doesn't accept tracked items whether the strikes are on, or not.
Our little post office, is an outreach, in the local shop,
and we have a community shop in the next village over, and the post office is manned by volunteers,
they both can now scan 24 tracked and 48 tracked
I phoned click and drop - they have been letting all post offices, including the, little retail ones scan since 17 nov
