Star Seller status lost due to dispatch times

Hello my star seller status has been removed. Out of the 193 eligible orders Etsy stated that 22 missed there processing or dispatch time. I’ve checked on this and it appears that the 22 stated orders were listed by me but for some unknown reason they were missing a stated dispatch time. I always dispatch any orders I receive the same day I receive them and always get 5 star reviews. Is there a way that Etsy can step in and layer this as its badly effecting my sales as they have plummeted ever since I lost the star seller status. Please help!

Hey There,

 

For the star seller to calculate the ship-by date of an order, you will need to set up the processing time. Please make sure all your listings have processing time. Learn how to set processing time here.

 

To get a closer breakdown of your orders that were counted as late, you can download a CSV by going to your Shop Manager dashboard > Star Seller dashboard page > selecting the On time shipping & tracking tile > selecting the ‘Export’ link next to ‘Order breakdown’.

 

Please note Etsy Support can’t make changes to your Star Seller data or manually award Star Seller badges.

for star seller, if the order was £10 or more, you have to either

1. purchase the label on etsy

or

2. you also have to mark them as completed, WITH the tracking number

if you bought postage at the post office, or elsewhere, and did not put the tracking number in for orders over £10, then it will not qualify

it is very very unlikely that any store's sales and whether or not they have Star Seller is related. Are you looking at the information on the order? If the shipper is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order.

Not having the star won't impact your search placement.  But, Etsy's algorithms do seem sensitive to shipping accuracies.  It may assist to view your shipping profiles within your shop manager?  There may be something missing within this area?  If so it can be added back in.  Listed items should all show a shopper estimated dates of shipping and delivery when viewing an Etsy item.  Can you see these time estimates on the item listings? If not, editing the shipping profile or listing to include it will help.

Etsy would like all orders to have valid tracking numbers.  If these were not included, this may be the issue?

Sales come and go and so does the star seller badge.  Good reviews are more important than this badge which is also given to resellers, counterfeiters, etc.  I personally don't think losing the badge has affected your sales.

I don't believe your policies are correct for your country.
