Star Seller stats met, but did not get the badge.

Hi. can someone take a look at my shop and show me what it is that i am not seeing as to why i did not get the Star Seller badge? my Response rate is 99%, my shipping is 100%, and my reviews are 4.9. i waited until the first of the month processed and yet when the calculations were complete, it says i did not qualify. however your stats say that i do. i could really use some assistance so that i can better understand what is going on. i've been working hard to meet your stats and and confused.

You don't have a message badge. You should be able to download a list and see where they're dinging you.

my stats for the last three months say i've responded to 100% of 3/3 messages and i didn't get the message badge or my star seller badge this month... unless etsy is still calculating stars on the backend

You're looking at the "Current Review Period" tab.  You want to be looking at the "Last Review Period" tab.

current review. my last period i was at 90%.

@DeckedOutPublishing The current review period is for the Oct. 1 badge.  The last period is for the badge that came out today.  If you had 90% last period, then you wouldn't get the badge that came out today.

It happens. It comes and it goes.  I lost the star for September- supposedly for failing speedy replies. Went through and checked- all my replies were speedy af.  Don’t take it too seriously. Star Seller is a psychological reward strategy based on modern gaming design to maximize player (seller) motivation through frustration. Right now, your princess is in another castle.

no, same thing happened to me.  i have 100% metrics met and am above the # of orders and $ thresholds and didn't get my message badge or the star seller badge this would have been my first month, i was really looking forward to this one

i am so sorry. i am in the same boat. every since this new badge system, i dont make the first page anymore on some of my products. where as i was top row for 2 years. was hoping this would get me back. i pay enough for ads, but even that doesnt bump me on some of my products

Did you reply to all messages, including those from sellers you've purchased from?

I've noticed the Star Stats are not always accurate at the first of the month.  I've had them readjust which happened within a day or so.   I'm not sure if this is the issue or if it's even still happening?  I just checked my Star Seller stats after reading this and they look correct. In truth, I try to ignore them as I don't find them helpful.

@DeckedOutPublishing  : The period "July 1–September 30, 2022" is for OCTOBER Star.  The "Last Review Period" shows the stats for the SEPTEMBER Star (June, July, and August).

For the Badge which was awarded 01 Sept and curently showing in your Shop, you need to look at "Last Review Period" 01 June - 31 August.

The "Current Review Period" is not "fixed" until 30 Sept, so any missed Messages, Late Shipping or low star Reviews will change these stats until they are finalized on 30 Sept

i busted my butt last month in hopes to get that badge this month as i wanted to monitor how it would affect sales or visits. i pay pretty close attention to our metrics. however in the last 3 years, i always just responded to ppl when i get around to it. Sales have always been great, we always have had a 5 star shop, and shipping is always on time, so my system was fine. but, if you didnt place an order, then ill get around to responding in a few days. seems etsy has forced my hand to be more attentive to that area. fine, no biggie.
