Ok, reposting this here because I guess the link to the "technical issues forum" doesn't actually take you there...
I'm currently listed as only having 80% for On-time shipping & tracking. Two items are listed as not having tracking numbers but they do have tracking numbers under "Orders". Both items shipped with tracking numbers and were "completed" on time.
The Etsy Help site says:
and:
How do I get this evaluated and resolved?
Print the csv file for on time shipping and see exactly which orders it says are missing tracking/shipped late.
I did.
As I already mentioned... there are two items it flags without tracking numbers. Both items have tracking numbers under "orders" and shipped and "completed" on time.
@DigitalRequiem: Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available.
What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).
If the link does not work, and if the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.
The print company used Asendia USA for these orders. I'm not familiar with the courier.
The correct tracking numbers ARE entered on the "Orders" page. However, when you click the tracking number, it brings you to Ascendia's website and not to the tracking page. You have to manually enter the tracking number.
However, once you enter the tracking numbers, it does show each item was shipped and enroute within just a few days of each order being placed.
I am guessing Ascendia USA is likely not supported by Etsy and I am just SOL. Thanks Etsy.
@DigitalRequiem: "I am guessing Ascendia USA is likely not supported by Etsy ..." Strange - it should work https://www.aftership.com/carriers/asendia-usa Perhaps the integration is not entering the tracking data "correctly" or perhaps Asendia is set up in a way that does not allow for automated tracking number verification / validation.
Aftership says "Asendia is an alliance between La Poste and Swiss Post." Perhaps the tracking number you are provided with is actually a different carrier's tracking number.
@BagmakerSupply This is one of the tracking numbers (does not appear to hold any personal info so I think this is ok to share?): AS000020309US
I believe this is an official Ascendia USA tracking number. It is the one that was autofilled into my order. It shows the package's full progress as multiple carriers were involved.
It is interesting that it also lists the local tracking number for delivery and an "original tracking number" but I don't know what that is.
I appreciate your help. If it "should work", as you stated, do you know how to "pursue it" other than posting here? The Star Seller support page literally just says to post here and "if" you meet the criteria for a evaluation that it takes up to 48 hours for changes. How do I get an evaluation?
Just bumping this to see if anyone else has any ideas on what exactly the process is here for me to get this resolved.
