When I opened my Etsy Seller App there was revenue from a sale. About 10 minutes later it disappeared and the revenue was zero. Has this happened to anyone else?
There is no need to contact Etsy support. Chances are you will not get a reply anyway to this simple question.
A buyer cannot cancel a transaction--they can only ask you to do so. IF it showed completed and then disappeared and YOU did not cancel then Etsy cancelled it for some reason --and they will not discuss it with you as it usually involves finances of the buyer.
If a buyer stops halfway thru buying you will never even know a sale was started--it will not show in your orders at all--ever. Once they press the "pay" button they cannot "take it back".
Sometimes a buyer cancels a transaction midway through the payment process. Check your completed orders for a cancellation that you didn't invoke.
There is o way for a buyer to cancel a transaction (even halfway thru). They can stop before completing it but in that case the seller would never even know about it.
The only thing they can do is ask the seller to cancel. If that was not done then Etsy cancelled the transaction for some reason.
Thank you for the information! I did as you suggested but nothing shows in cancellation of a completed order. I will have to wait to hear from Etsy support. Thanks again. Your input was helpful! I didn’t realize I could check for cancellations.

Etsy probably will not respond as mentioned above. When this happens, it's because payment failed. Usually because the card had a limit, or the sale was fraudulent. It's a good thing and for your protection.
Thank you for the feedback!
check the Status Overview For : Is it for today?, yesterday?, last 7 days? e.c.t.
I had the same thing happen today. Contacted Etsy support: it was a waste of my time.
Please see my reply above.
Etsy cancelled this because there was some reason the payment would not process. Expired CC, CC over limit, stolen CC, whatever it was Etsy will not discuss it with you.
I'm having sort of the same problem as the original poster. I made a sale today and a few minutes later the sale and revenue were gone. Here's where things get weird. If I set the overview for today the sale and revenue are listed, but if i set it to anything else it doesn't show.
