Star Seller Shipping Stats Report Discrepancy (AGAIN!)

I am trying to work my way back up to Star Seller for the month of March. I just shipped out 4 orders on time WITH tracking information and my CSV file for March says it doesn't count?! This is the second time! Can someone please fix this discrepancy?

It might need 24hrs to update if you have just shipped them

Sometimes orders are not included until after the scheduled ship by date regardless of when you actually shipped. Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) seem to be updated only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay.

"Can someone please fix this discrepancy?" Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

Directly contacting Etsy support won't help either because apparently they can't make changes to Star Seller data or award badges manually. I was told to reach out via their Technical Issues forum and so I did.

@MinimalisticBudget: "... they can't make changes to Star Seller data ..." Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats but they have in some cases been able to adjust the underlying data and then the Star seller stats auto update (but not retroactively).

As long as 12 months ago, Etsy Community Specialist/s confirmed that the data for SSP CSV:

1) Is based on UTC Time not local time

2) Messages are assigned to the Day/Month the reply was due for response (end of the 24 hours permitted), not the Day/Month you responded

3) Shipping Data is assigned to the Day/Month the Order was due to Ship (latest date/time in Processing), not the Day/Month you actually shipped.

An additional complication for 2024 is the fact that February has 29 Days this year, Etsy has never coped well with February, but this is particularly apparent every time a Leap Year occurs.

Hi, one of my order is my CSV file for says 'NO TRACKING.' The order was due on Feb 24th while I shipped it on Feb 21st and uploaded the tracking details. Due to this miscalculation, I might miss the STAR SELLER BADGE in the month of March. Can someone please help fixing this?

we can't fix anything, we are only other sellers.

the shipper has to be chosen from the dropdown list, and the tracking number has to be added at the time you mark as dispatched

and make sure 0 and O are correct, and you have no leading or trailing spaces
