Has anyone else experienced issues with the Star Seller badge timeframe? Etsy's website states the review period for the October badge is July 1 to September 30, but I was told the last few days of September didn’t count. My stats didn’t update after September 26 even though the website says it updates every 24 hours, and I missed the badge because of it. Has anyone else had this problem where the final days of the month aren’t counted, despite what Etsy says?
@SiriuslyRiddikulusCo: As mentioned, Star Seller stats are in UTC not your time zone.
Usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied.
Usually an order is counted using the scheduled ship by date not the date you actually shipped / marked the order as complete.
There have been reports in the past that the stats for the final day are not counted as it takes 24 hours to update.
Download your stats for the last month, and see which information is missing, then contact Etsy
There are different timeframes for orders, reviews and messages.
For example, orders that have ship-by dates in the following month do not count for this month, even if you've shipped this month.
Basically, you can never count that things occurring on the last few days of the month will count toward those final stats for the month.
Time zone is an issue too. Star seller stats use UTC time so that can impact things. Example a review received on the last day of the month your time won't be counted if it was received later in the day and it's already past midnight UTC time.
They are all updated,
however,
for messages, you have 24/48 hours to respond, so etsy won't count them, until after the 24/48 hour period, so they are rolled into the next month, even if you answer them immediately
for ships on time with tracking, etsy doesn't count them, until after the latest ship date, so even if you ship an order on 29th September, if the ship date was 28th sept-2nd october, it is not counted until October stats.
overall, it should work out OK, because it also means you have ones rolled into the current calculation on 1st October, from end June
Wow. Before thinking or caring about your Star Seller badges, I would strongly suggest to revise your listings.
Do you have licenses on all these items? Taylor Swift, Kelce x2, Barbie, Post Malone, Disney, movies, series and MORE..
ETA. From the reviews: "Their TS x HP merch is TOP NOTCH!" "I've already recommended it to other Swifties." " I ordered it as a gift for a Swiftie friend and can’t wait to give it to her." "Love this shirt and can't wait to wear it out to the ERAS Tour."
