Star Seller Missed

How is it that I was on track the entire month of September to become star seller but yet I still missed it? 

 

I pulled the Excel report that's given in my back office and it shows a 90% rating. Why? It should be 100%.

Apparently my two most recent orders were not shipped on time. But, how? When it shows they were shipped the SAME DAY!! 

 

Im incredibly frustrated that I did everything right and customer service just tells me to post my grievance here. 

 

Any input is welcomed.

@Sweetluxemelts: Probably almost everyone on this forum can sympathize with you but there are innumerable threads about your exact issue. How long ago did you ship? Have the packages been scanned? Often the CSV file is often behind reality. If the shipper is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Our experience is that a day or two after the package has been scanned the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status.

 

If you shipped at the end of the month, you have entered the dreaded time zone trap. It seems that Etsy uses UTC for most things, but many "reports" are based on your time zone. September 30 to you may be October 1 to Etsy. Also, looking at other posts in this forum it seems that the last few days of a month routinely get rolled into the next month when doing Star Seller calculations.

@BagmakerSupply I used USPS and uploaded the tracking the same way that I always have. 

 

Both orders were placed on September 30th and both were shipped on September 30th. One was delivered today and one is still out for delivery. I know this just by looking at my back office and seeing what Etsy tells me. I know everything has registered. 

I know in my heart of hearts nothing was done wrong and I guess I'm not really seeking help from anyone but Etsy. It's just aggravating. I appreciate your helpfulness.

@Sweetluxemelts: Unfortunately, Etsy has made it clear that they will not manually adjust Star Seller data.

You can’t rely on orders after about the 27/28th to carry you through. Stats don’t update in real time. Sometimes it’s 24 hrs, sometimes 48 or longer.
