Star Seller Messaging Errors

When trying to become a star seller and being so close, I saw a decline in my message %...I didn't believe that was the case, so when I looked at the report it shows I'm answering the buyer but they are listing their messages separately, why?

On 4 occasions this past month, totaling 7 messages counted against me, I was in a thread talking with a customer long within the 24 hour period but each message from the buyers is listed as a separate incoming message and although I am answering them each time it doesn't count.  What do I have to break up a paragraph to each incoming email rather than have one paragraph?  This is ridiculous because if I have to recall a conversation I have to go through a ton of messages rather than one...you can see the CRV that I am speaking about under my shop.

The automated system has no way of knowing that a new message is actually a duplicate / from a Buyer you have already answered in another message. To meet the Message SSP Metric you must post some sort of response to evvvery message which is in a new Thread. This can be a simple "replied to your first message" or you can send to "Spam" any messages you do not need to reply to. FP for April, but will remove these from the calculation for the May Badge.

On my star seller report it says that I have one message I didn't respond to.  It was from Kelly message date 5/12/22.   This message from Kelly is thanking me for buying item from her store on Etsy.  I don't believe that this message should count against my star seller.  I was eligible to get all three badges June 1st, now I am not because of this message.  

This message should not be counted against my star seller badges, that is unfair I was buying items and according to the star seller you have to respond within 24 hours to  messages from my customers.  

Please let me know what can be done about this.

According to star seller you have to respond to ALL messages.

This means you just need to respond to the first message within 24 hours. This applies to messages both from buyer and seller accounts. Messages from Etsy staff do not count toward your response rate, and neither do messages that you mark as spam. You can also now find a breakdown of your message response rate score by downloading a CSV.
