I'm reaching out as I'm doing everything I can to get my star seller badge. Everything is there apart from the messages. I have 92% response rate. The ONE message I didn't reply to in time was from a lady who had already started a convo and I had replied quickly to the first one... can this be corrected? I was under the impression it was only the first message that needed a response within 24hours.

ALL initial messages require a response within 24 hours, even from the same person. The details are explained on your Star Seller Dashboard. You can try marking the second one as spam. (This issue has been addressed in forums 100s or 1000s of times since the program began.)
I believe messages from the same customer are now grouped into a thread. This messagewas received before that came into effect so really I was hoping that could be taken into account as the messages were received on the same day
